Emerald Isle is the poetic name for Ireland due to its green countryside...
Our proposal is that you:
1. Set up an ecological food web representative of how Irish wildlife is organized. Who is eating who?
2. Write down all the gathered information in the six suggested activities to make a dossier. You will have to hand it out to the teacher by email. You will find who are the protagonists of your food web at activity 3.
To design your group’s food web, you just have to
follow two rules:
- You must use 15 species, including animals and plants.
- All the trophic levels should be represented. If you don’t remember what is the meaning of “trophic level", go to activity 1 and you will discover it!!
3. Make an oral presentation in front of the rest of the class explaining your food web (relations between the animals and plants, which function has each element, etc...). You will have 5 minutes per group.
Let's get started!!!!! ;)
